1st perinthesis: 3/4 - 1/4 = 2/4 = 1/2
15/24 - 10/24 =5/24
5/24(1/2) = 5/48
5/48 + 32/48 = 37/48
so the answer is 37/48

Graphing f(x)=(x+2)^2-3 in vertex form
USPshnik [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a parabola shaped like a U.

The minimum value is at (-2, -3).

Find the zeroes:

(x + 2)^2 = 3

Find the zeroes:

x + 2 = +/- √3

x = +/-√3 - 2

x = -0.27, -3.73.

So the graph cuts the x axis at (-0.27, 0)  and (-3.73, 0)

when x = -4 , f(x) = 1 and when x = 1,  f(x) =  6.

So you can now draw the curve through these 5 points and it will be shaped like a U, symetrical about the line x = -2

7.C.J. says the quotient of -3/4 divided by 1/4 is - 1/3
Elanso [62]

The correct quotient is -3

The mistake CJ likely made is multiplying using the reciprocal of -3/4. The correct option is d. He multiplied using the reciprocal of -3/4

From the question,

We are to determine the correct quotient.

The given division operation to be carried out is -3/4 divided by 1/4

The correct quotient can be determined as shown below

-\frac{3}{4} \div \frac{1}{4}

Multiply -\frac{3}{4} by the reciprocal of \frac{1}{4}

The reciprocal of \frac{1}{4} is  \frac{4}{1}

Then, we get

-\frac{3}{4} \times \frac{4}{1}

This gives

-\frac{12}{4}

= -3

The correct quotient is -3

The mistake CJ likely made is multiplying using the reciprocal of -3/4.

Hence, the correct quotient is -3

The mistake CJ likely made is He multiplied using the reciprocal of -3/4. The correct option is d. He multiplied using the reciprocal of -3/4
