The answer is letter A.

Biking or bicycling is a form aerobic exercise that develops cardiorespiratory fitness. This is because the heart and lungs are the important organs that function when this activity is being done. Biking for 30 minutes to more than a few hours will inhibit the strengthening of the muscles of the heart and the ability of the lungs to convert unoxygenated blood into oxygenated blood. If you engage in this activity on a regular basis, you will notice and improvement in your performance.

Cardiorespiratory fitness is most likely to improve due to (A) bicycling.

Further Explanation:

Cardiorespiratory fitness is the ability of the lungs to convert the deoxygenated blood to oxygenated blood. The heart to pumps oxygenated blood to the cells that need oxygen and increases the ability of the muscles to produce energy. The delivery of oxygen in the working muscles can be affected by factors such as stroke volume, cardiac output, heart rate etc. Participation in activities that help in energy build up like jogging, bicycling etc. can increase the heart rate. Thus, increasing the cardiovascular fitness. The heart rate increases followed by increase in the oxygen rich blood into the cells that need oxygen.

Bicycling is categorized as a type of aerobic activity. Bicycling for 30 minutes or more can strengthen the muscles of the heart and also the ability of the lungs to convert deoxygenated blood into oxygenated blood. The consistency in such activities can improve the cardiorespiratory fitness. Weighttraining is the common type of exercise that can develop the skeletal muscle's size as well as strength. The force of gravity from the weighted bars is utilized and the force that opposite the force of gravity is used by the muscles for strength as well as increasing the size of the skeletal muscle. Push-ups and sit-ups are the form of exercise that uses the persons on body weight to strengthen the muscles involved in the push up. The chest muscles, abdominals, triceps, biceps, forearms etc. are involved in the push-ups.

Thus, cardiorespiratory fitness is most likely to improve due to bicycling.

By which process do plants obtain carbon from the atmosphere
Sliva [168]

Answer: A) Photosynthesis

Photosynthesis:<em> </em><em><u>The process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize foods from carbon dioxide and water</u></em><em>. Photosynthesis in plants generally involves the green pigment chlorophyll and generates oxygen as a byproduct.</em>

Cellular Respiration:<em> </em><u><em>Is a set of metabolic reactions and processes that take place in the cells of organisms to convert biochemical energy from nutrients into adenosine triphosphate</em></u><em> (ATP), and then release waste products.</em>

Decomposition:<em> Is the process by which organic substances are</em><u><em> broken down into simpler organic matter</em></u><em>. The process is a part of the nutrient cycle and is essential for recycling the finite matter that occupies physical space in the biosphere. Bodies of living organisms begin to decompose shortly after death.</em>

Burning Fossil Fuels:<em> </em><u><em>is a fuel formed by natural processes,</em></u><em> such as anaerobic decomposition of buried dead organisms, containing energy originating in ancient photosynthesis. Such organisms and their resulting fossil fuels typically have an age of millions of years, and sometimes more than 650 million years.</em>

(<em>Extra</em>)>Carbon moves from the atmosphere to plants. In the atmosphere, carbon is attached to oxygen in a gas called carbon dioxide (CO2). Through the process of <em>photosynthesis</em>, carbon dioxide is pulled from the air to produce food made from carbon for plant growth. Carbon moves from plants to animals.
