A 16 Y/O female was admitted to the pediatric ICU with exacerbation of her cystic fibrosis. On day 3, she was transferred to the

medical pediatric unit. The pressure injury survey was conducted on day 4 of hospitalization and the survey team saw a Stage 2 pressure injury under the oxygen tubing over the top of her left ear. Review of her hospital admission assessment record revealed intact, very dry skin with poor turgor.
