Answer:

The Columbus Exchange affected African people by enslaving and forcing them to become slaves in the New World. During the exchange, Europeans started settling in colonies to start a new life by establishing plantations of new cash crops like tobacco. The Columbus exchange brought diseases which caused Natives Indians to die after coming to contact with the Europeans. The lack of the native population led to the rise of the slave trade in the New World. Enslaved African put into plantation as labor in fields.

Well the colombian exchange was trading goods between europe and the americas and one of those "goods" was slaves (Amfrican Americans). Europeans took African Americans from their home region and traded them as slaves, changing european, american and african cultures and societies

You are traveling upstream on a river at dusk. You see a buoy with the number 5 and a flashing green light. What should you do&g
xeze [42]

Answer: You should pass the buoy by the left side

Explanation:

A combination of a green light and the number 5 signify the left side of the boat or the port side as the boat goes upstream. These buoys, lighted or not indicate safety procedures to be followed or provide boaters with some information about the area they are. They can restrict movement, designate an area as a swimming area or indicate how to pass the signs, much like road signs.

Bruce has smoked since he was 15 years old. His doctor tells him that he needs to quit for his health. Bruce tells the doctor, "
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

Rationalization.

Explanation:

Rationalization is explained here as an ego defense mechanism that people use to make excuses for situations or events in their lives that they do not like. This is seen here as Bruce's case because he is vehemently trying to turn the irrational in his present situation to rational. People use it often when they are angry, depressed, scared or hurt.

The mechanism usually works negatively to make the person feel worse about the situation or event rather than better. Rationalization is a type of cognitive distortion.

In cases like this when people rationalize, they turn irrational things into rational.
