The cost of one adult ticket is $7.5 and one child ticket is $3.5

Julia will pay $48 for 5 adult tickets and 3 child tickets.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

Cost of one adult ticket = x

Cost of one child ticket = y

According to given statement;

3x+5y=40    Eqn 1

x+5y=25      Eqn 2

Subtracting Eqn 2 from Eqn 1

(3x+5y)-(x+5y)=40-25\\3x+5y-x-5y=15\\2x=15

Dividing both sides by 2

\frac{2x}{2}=\frac{15}{2}\\x=7.5

Putting x=2.5 in Eqn 1

3(7.5)+5y=40\\22.5+5y=40\\5y=40-22.5\\5y=17.5

Dividing both sides by 5

\frac{5y}{5}=\frac{17.5}{5}\\y=3.5

The cost of one adult ticket is $7.5 and one child ticket is $3.5

5 adult tickets = 5*7.5 = $37.5

3 child tickets = 3*3.5 = $10.5

Total = 37.5+10.5 =$48

Julia will pay $48 for 5 adult tickets and 3 child tickets.

Pls help!!! Find the measure of GPS and NPH.
Snowcat [4.5K]

Answer: gps no nph are both 140

Step-by-step explanation:

So we know that around the center is equal to 360. So (15 + 5x) = (4x + 20) to find what x equals you subtract 4x from each side to get 15 + x = 20 now subtract 15 from both sides to get x = 5. Now we know that x = 5 so the 2 angles are 40 degrees each. Now subtract those two angles from 360 and you get 280. Then divide by two and you get 140. So, now we know those two angles are equal to 140.

Good luck with your school work. Sorry it took so long.

The right isosceles triangle PQR has vertices P(3, 3), Q(3, 1) and R(x, y) and is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise about the
Jlenok [28]
For the answer to the question above, since the triangle is isosceles, the two legs have equal length. The coordinates of two vertices are given
P(3,3)
Q(3,1)
Assuming that PQ and QR are the legs of equal length, the distance between Q and R must be the same as the distance between P and Q
d = √[(3-3)² + (3-1)²
d = 2
Therefore, the coordinates of P is
