The correct answer in here is C. The second arc should be centered at C. We say this because s the parallel line has to pass through C, then the second arc should be centered at C. Hope this is useful for you

Answer:

C. The second arc should be centered at C.

Step-by-step explanation:

The plot of the problem can be seen it in the figure attached.

You want to construct a line parallel to AB which pass through point C. After first arc is drawn (which is centered at D, has a radius which is approximately half of segment CD and intercept both AB and CD) the second arc (with the same radius as before) should be centered at C. The next step is to use the compass to measure the distance between points E and F. Then, move the compass to the upper arc and mark off a new arc intercepting the one centered at C, forming a new point G. Finally, draw a line which pass through C and G.

Answer:

45%

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula to work out the decrease is:

Percentage Decrease= actual decrease / original amount X 100%

1) So firstly, we have to work out the decrease, to do this we have to do is do $750-$412.50= $337.50

2) We can now substitute this into our formula which will now be. (We will also add the original amount, which is $750.00)

Percentage Decrease= 337.50 / 750.00 X 100% = 45

The percentage decrease is 45%

Factorise: a squared +8a -20
Vaselesa [24]
Factor out the 4 in both equations
8a^2-20^2=(2^2 times a^2 times 2)-(2^2 times 5)
therefor it is also equal to
(2a)^2 times 2-(2^2 times 5)
we can force it into a difference of 2 perfect squares which is a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b)
(2a√2)^2-(2√5)^2=((2a√2)-(2√5))((2a√2)+(2√5))
