Answer:

h(x)=\sqrt[3]{x+2}

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

f(x)=\sqrt[3]{x}

The inflection point of f(x) is the point (0,0)

The inflection point of h(x) is the point (-2,0) -----> see the given graph

so

the rule of the translation of f(x) to h(x) is

(x,y)------> (x-2,y)

That means------> The translation is 2 units to the left

therefore

The equation of h(x) is equal to

h(x)=\sqrt[3]{x+2}

balandron [24]

Answer:

25 capsules.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are told that Joan has a prescription for 100 Theophylline capsules. Joan informs the pharmacist that she only has enough money to purchase ¼ of the prescription today.

To find the number of capsules that Joan will pay for today, we will find 1/4 of 100.

\text{The number of capsules that Joan will pay for today}=\frac{1}{4}\times 100

\text{The number of capsules that Joan will pay for today}=25

Therefore, Joan will pay for 25 capsules today.

Your car gets 15 miles to the gallon and your friend's car gets 25 miles to the gallon. you decide to go on a road trip to virgi
sergij07 [2.7K]

You would save $32 if you used your friends car.

I found this out by doing this:

300/15 will tell you how many gallons of gas it would take to get to Virginia Tech in your car(20 gallons). You would then multiply that by the price of gas($4), which would = $80.

300/25 will tell you how many gallons of gas it would take to get to Virginia Tech in your friends car(12 gallons). You would then multiply that by the price of gas($4), which would = $48.

So to come up with the difference you would do $80-$48, which is $32.

I hope this helped Tinytoonjr6552!
