S = 935 when t ≤ 7

S = (180t - 325) when t > 7

Step-by-step explanation:

Commission for the first seven cars sold = $80 per car

Commission above 7 cars = $180 per car

If John sells t cars each week then commission earned by John

= 80×7 + 180(t - 7)

So the salary for week = 375 + commission

S = 375 + 560 + 180(t - 7)

S = 935 + 180(t - 7)

S = 935 when t ≤ 7

     (180t - 325) when t > 7
