It would start in the mouth there the person would break down the apple into smaller pieces with their teeth. The person will swallow and the broken down pieces of apple will head down the esophagus and land in the stomach where it will be broken down even more with the help of enzymes being released from the stomach lining and acid in the stomach it will then head through the intestine where the nutrients will be absorbed. Finally it will be excreted.
