If the Nile River did not flood regularly, how might life along the Nile have been different?

The Nile River was a basic source of living for the people. The river helped them in trade, the water from the river was used in irrigation and sustainable living.

If the Nile River was absent, the people there would have no source of trade and therefore the economy would have been unable to sustain. People would  not have been able to grow food and through farming, and lack of food production would mean less survival and therefore which would lead to lesser population.
