Human immunodeficiency virus is responsible for causing AIDS in humans. This is a sexually transmitted disease and transferred through body fluids.  

This virus does not spread through eating, sleeping, playing or any other activity which does not involve the transfer of body fluids. So the statement of client which states that "I am afraid that I will give this disease to my nephew" should be clarified by the nurse.  

Unfortunately, there is no such medication that can cure for HIV AIDS but there is medication that can slow down the viral reproduction and elongate the life of the client. So the client statement which states that medications can cure the disease should also be clarified by the nurse.
