In Aerobic respiration,  organisms use oxygen to turn fuel, such as fats and sugars, into chemical energy.

Anaerobic respiration is a type of respiration that requires oxygen , it  produces lactic acid, rather than carbon dioxide and water.

In anaerobic respiration, the glucose breaks down without oxygen.

This reaction transfers energy from glucose to the cell.
