The correct answer would be, The time to hit the floor is independent of the ball's speed.

Suppose you roll a ball off a tabletop. The time to hit the floor does not depend upon the speed of the ball. In other words, the faster rolling ball will take no longer to hit the floor.

Explanation:

There is a difference between the motion of the ball while rolling and while coming and hitting the ground.

When the ball is rolling, the ball is moving in the horizontal direction with regards to the table, and when the ball is rolling off the tabletop, the motion is vertical with regards to the table.

The time to hit the floor is independent of the ball's horizontal rolling speed. It will hit the ground with the same speed because of gravity, because the horizontal force will not have any affect on the vertical fall of the ball.
