I added a screenshot with the heading of the question along with its image

Answer:
m∠4 = 23°

Explanation:
1- getting the value of x:
We know that KM bisects ∠NKL, this means that:
∠3 = ∠4 = x

Now, we know that ∠NKJ, ∠3 and ∠4 form a straight angle.
This means that their summation is 180°

We can now get the value of x as follows:
180 = ∠NKJ + ∠3 + ∠4
180 = 5x + 19 + x + x
180 = 7x + 19
180 - 19 = 7x
161 = 7x
x = 23

2- getting ∠4:
From part 1, we got that x = 23
We are given that:
∠4 = x
This means that:
∠4 = 23°

Hope this helps :)

Fission tracks are trails found in uranium-bearing minerals, left by fragments released during fission events. An article report
Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer:

Mean track length for this rock specimen is between 10.463 and 13.537

Step-by-step explanation:

99% confidence interval for the mean track length for rock specimen can be calculated using the formula:

M±\frac{t*s}{\sqrt{N}} where

 • M is the average track length (12 μm) in the report
 • t is the two tailed t-score in 99% confidence interval (2.977)
 • s is the standard deviation of track lengths in the report (2 μm)
 • N is the total number of tracks (15)

putting these numbers in the formula, we get confidence interval in 99% confidence as:

12±\frac{2.977*2}{\sqrt{15}} =12±1.537

Therefore, mean track length for this rock specimen is between 10.463 and 13.537

-6x + 18 = 7- (4x + 9) help will give brainlyist
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

X = -5

Step-by-step explanation:

-6x + 18 = 7 - (4x + 9)

first we simplify the parentheses.

distribute the invisible number one created by the negative sign in front of the parentheses to get -6x + 18 = 7 - 4x - 9

then simplify further by subtracting 9 from the right side, leaving you with

-6x + 18 = -2 - 4x

next, add 2 to both sides to isolate the variable.

-6x + 20 = -4x

then, to isolate the variable further add 6x to both sides.

20 = -4x

divide both sides by -4 to isolate the variable

-5 = x

so, x = -5

Cot^2x csc^2x + 2 csc^2x –cot^2 = 2
kow [346]

Answer:

x = π/2 + πk

Step-by-step explanation:

cot² x csc² x + 2 csc² x − cot² x = 2

Multiply both sides by sin² x:

cot² x + 2 − cos² x = 2 sin² x

Add cos² x to both sides:

cot² x + 2 = 2 sin² x + cos² x

Pythagorean identity:

cot² x + 2 = sin² x + 1

Subtract 1 from both sides:

cot² x + 1 = sin² x

Pythagorean identity:

csc² x = sin² x

Multiply both sides by sin² x:

1 = sin⁴ x

Take the fourth root:

sin x = ±1

Solve for x:

x = π/2 + 2πk, 3π/2 + 2πk

Which simplifies to:

x = π/2 + πk
