Answer:

B should have been the winner. Since B received the majority of the votes, he should be the winner, not A, and it doesnt matter how close was the election or how cmany votes A got in reality. If B had more votes for 1st place, then it should be the winner, not A. I am assuming that there were electoral fraud and someone intentionally didnt count valid votes from B.

A line passes through (10,-1) and has a slope of -1/2 whats the equation of the line
8090 [49]

Answer:

Y=-1/2x+4

Step-by-step explanation:

-The slope is -1/2 so you just plug it in where the slope would go with an x in front

-all you need now is your y-intercept which can be found by plugging in the provided info to your basic form y=mx+b

-You can take the provided point at (10,-1) and work out what the intercepts is

-1=-1/2(10)-b

-1=-5-b

Chef Jess made a cake with an area of 93 1/2 inches if the width of the cake was 8 1/2 inches what was the length of the cake
dybincka [34]

Answer:

L= 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula to find the length when you know the area:

L = A/W

So the equation for this one is:

L = 93 1/2 ÷ 8 1/2

Simplify:

L = 11

To be sure of your answer you multiply the L x W = A

11 x 8 1/2 = 93 1/2

Hope this helped : D

Graph the system of inequalities
mihalych1998 [28]
Answer: To graph a linear inequality in two variables (say, x and y ), first get y alone on one side. Then consider the related equation obtained by changing the inequality sign to an equality sign. The graph of this equation is a line. If the inequality is strict ( < or > ), graph a dashed line.
