Answer:

The approximate measure of largest angle is 76°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given in triangle RST, RS = 6 cm, ST = 7 cm, and RT = 8 cm. we have to find the measure of the largest angle in the triangle.

By theorem If one side of a triangle is longer than the another side, then the angle opposite to the longer side of triangle will be larger than the angle opposite to the shorter side.

As longest side is RT.

∴ the angle opposite to the side RT is largest i.e ∠S is largest.

By cosine law,

cos \angleS=\frac{RS^2+ST^2-RT^2}{2(RS)(ST)}

⇒ cos \angleS=\frac{6^2+7^2-8^2}{2(6)(7)}

⇒ cos \angleS=\frac{6^2+7^2-8^2}{2(6)(7)}

⇒ cos \angleS=\frac{1}{4}

⇒ \angleS=cos^{-1}(\frac{1}{4})=75.5224878141
\sim76^{/circ}

The approximate measure of largest angle is 76°

Please help, it's for a geometry quiz, show all work please, question in the image attached
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

m<ABC=94°

m<BCD=25°

m<ACB=43°

Step-by-step explanation:

To find <mBCD

m<ABD=133°, so m<CBD=133° too.

A triangle is equal to 180°.

22°+133°=155°

80°-155°=25°

To find <mACB

You first need to know triangle ACD measurements.

m<ADC=44° (22°+22°)

Then you take the two 25 and add them.

25°+25°=50°

50°+44°=94°

180°-94°=86°

86°÷2=43°

To find m<ABC

43°+43°=86°

180°-86°=94°
