Root hairs have what kind of roles in absorption and transport of water and minerals?
Leni [432]

Explanation:

Root hairs are found in the plant it is a hair-like structure present on the surface of the root tip and Root hairs have large surface area that increase the absorption rate of water and minerals.

Water is absorbed by root hair cells through the process called Osmosis and Minerals ions is  absorbed  root hairs by the process called active transport.

The function of root hair is to collect the minerals and waters present in the soil and then transfer these nutrients and water through roots to different parts of the plant.

Why must you consume carbohydrates in the foods you eat? How does this relate to cellular respiration?
omeli [17]
The breakdown of carbohydrates into glucose. Glucose use to obtain energy (ATP) for the human cellular respiration by the steps glycolysis, acetyl CoA and kreb cycle. In glycolysis, ATP is use to generate greater ATP called the ATP debt. Fat (lipid) and protein (amino acid) also can give human energy call gluconeogenesis but only when critical condition only.

I need at least 2 paragraphs about mars. Thanks for the help!
gladu [14]

Here's it! Good Luck!

Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and the second-smallest planet in the Solar System, after Mercury. Named after the Roman god of war, it is often referred to as the "Red Planet" because the iron oxide prevalent on its surface gives it a reddish appearance. Mars is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere, having surface features reminiscent both of the impact craters of the Moon and the valleys, deserts, and polar ice caps of Earth.

The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Mars are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons. Mars is the site of Olympus Mons, the largest volcano, and second-highest known mountain in the Solar System, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in the Solar System. The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 40% of the planet and may be a giant impact feature. Mars has two moons, Phobos and Deimos, which are small and irregularly shaped. These may be captured asteroids, similar to 5261 Eureka, a Mars trojan.

Hope this helps!
