Red ribbons are wrapped around all the columns of a building. Each ribbon does not overlap itself. Each column has a radius of 3

feet. if all the ribbons are taken off the columns and attached end to end, they would measure 144 pi feet long. How many columns does the building have?

Hello!

If this long ribbon measures 144\pi feet, you can see, it was only multiplied by one number, which has the be the diameter of a column to get our circumference. If we divide this by our diameter 6 (diameter is double the radius, 3), we get our answer below.

144/6=24

Therefore, our answer is C) 24.

I hope this helps!

Length of a ribbon that is wrapped around 1 column = pi r^2 = 3^2 pi

= 9 pi feet

Number of columns = 144 pi / 9 pi

= 16 answer

Answer:

  1. the range of f^-1(x) is {10, 20, 30}.

  2. the graph of f^-1(x) will include the point (0, 3)

  3. n = 8

Step-by-step explanation:

1. The domain of a function is the range of its inverse, and vice versa. The range of f^-1(x) is {10, 20, 30}.

__

2. See above. The domain and range are swapped between a function and its inverse. That means function point (3, 0) will correspond to inverse function point (0, 3).

__

3. The n-th term of an arithmetic sequence is given by ...

  an = a1 +d(n -1)

You are given a1 = 2, a12 = 211, so ...

  211 = 2 + d(12 -1)

  209/11 = d = 19 . . . . . solve the above equation for the common difference

Now, we can use the same equation to find n for an = 135.

  135 = 2 + 19(n -1)

  133/19 = n -1 . . . . . . . subtract 2, divide by 19

  7 +1 = n = 8 . . . . . . . . add 1

135 is the 8th term of the sequence.

After solving an equation, you end up with integers on both sides of the equation. What can you interpret about the equation are
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

The equation is:

An identity

Has infinitely many solutions

No solution

Step-by-step explanation:

Because there is integers on both sides, we know that any attempts to fix this will either cause an identity, or a false numerical equation(an identity but <em>w r o n g</em>).(Note, an identity can either mean 2 = 2 or x = x).

Identities have infinite solutions, because it does not matter what you put in, the equation will always be true. False equations do not have a solution because they aren't even true equations.

Hope this helps!
