Answer:

Lack of Empathy & Mutual Understanding

Explanation:

Raj & Jamie, recently came together couple, broke up due to a conflict for about two days.

Both of them had made different plans for an evening (Raj - Concert & Jamie - dinner. So, they got disappointed with each other as - one's (Jamie's)  plan got cancelled & then she was not in good mood while other's (Raj's) plan,  which made the latter also upset.

Instead of fighting, they could have shown empathy towards each other's feelings and could have made an attempt to understand each other's state of mind by putting themselves in other one's shoe. Such empathy & mutual understanding could have helped them solve their issue in a manner, constructive for their relationship & could also have enhanced resilience of their relationship. For eg - they could have surprised each other with a surprise date of other one's choice (Raj - Dinner, Jamie - Movie/ concert)  However, lack of empathy & mutual understanding  turned a petty issue into huge conflict & broke up their relationship.

Imagine being assigned the same duty as a coworker. You struggle to pleading concentrate on the task at hand one day since you are feeling especially lethargic. When your boss walks in and sees, she doesn't scold you but vicarious reinforcement rather acknowledges and compliments your teammate for keeping up the good work.
