Due to its warm weather and alluvial soil, the South became an agricultural place. The Old South became known for its complex social structure. The different groups that made up this society were the yeoman farmers, free blacks, landless whites, slave-owners, and slaves.The landowners bought African slaves to work their massive plantations due to a labor shortage. Even little farmers were hired for slave labor. As this place progressed, businesses were also developed. And these industries further hired landless whites and slaves. In urban areas, slaves were usually hired for domestic service while others worked in food processing, manufacturing, and transportation.

After the signing of the Treaty, Great Britain was the one who gained the most. From France they received Canada and from Spain they received Florida. They also took over the control of Bengal from France and several other parts of India too. They gave up Cuba and Philippines to Spain and Guadeloupe and Martinique to France. Britain allowed France to keep some of the Indian factories. Britain also received Ile Royal or the Cape Breton Island from France and she also agreed to stop its fortifications in the British Honduras (Belize) but kept its log wood cutting company there. Russia didn't become a monarchy my firend. In America they're trying to teach you how bad Russia was during the Soviet Union, but the actual people who lived there had everything they wanted and needed. My grandparents are from there as my mom, and they cried when the Union collapsed. It was not bad for them, but for the Americans of course it was. Was the democracy good for the Russians, heck no.
