$\frac{x + 4}{x - 1} / \frac{x^{2} + x}{x - 1} = \frac{x + 4}{x - 1} * \frac{x^{2} + x}{x - 1} = \frac{(x + 4)(x^{2} + x)}{(x - 1)(x - 1)} = \frac{x^{3} + x^{2} + 4x^{2} + 4x}{x^{2} - x - x + 1} = \frac{x^{3} + 5x^{2} + 4x}{x^{2} - 2x + 1} = x + 7 + \frac{17x - 7}{x^{2} - 2x + 1}$

$\frac{3}{2x - 1} - \frac{5}{2x - 1} = -\frac{2}{2x - 1}$
