To convert a decimal to a percent, multiply the decimal by 100, then add on the % symbol. An easy way to multiply a decimal by 100 is to move the decimal point two places to the right. This is done in the example below. Each decimal in Example 1 went out two places to the right of the decimal point.

) Which statements about -3 and -7 are true? Choose ALL the correct answers.
trasher [3.6K]

Answer: -3 is greater than -7 and the absolute value of -3 is less than the absolute value of -7.

Step-by-step explanation:

For NEGATIVE numbers, the closer the value is to 0, the greater it is. -3 is closer to 0 than -7 is, so -3 is greater than -7. For POSITIVE numbers, the further away the number is from 0, the greater it is. The absolute value of -3 is 3 and the absolute value of -7 is 7, and 7 is farther away from 0 than 3 is. So, the absolute value of -3 is less than the absolute value of -7. Hope this helps!

Alex Ar [27]

Answer:X+9=11

9-9|11-9

X=2

Step-by-step explanation:When the beginning number is unknown we use “x” to be a place holder. If she got 9 more books we would add 9 to the equation. Finally if 11 is the total, the end of the equation would equal 11.
