Answer:

3 French horns

6 tubas

9 trumpets

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of French horns be x.

<u>Number of French horns</u> = x

There are twice as many tubas as French horns, so

<u>Number of tubas</u> = 2x

There are three more trumpets than tubas, so

<u>Number of trumpets</u> = 2x + 3

Five times the number of trumpets equals nine times the number of French horns, plus triple the number of tubas, so

5(2x+3)=9x+3\cdot 2x\\ \\10x+15=9x+6x\\ \\10x+15=15x\\ \\15=15x-10x\\ \\15=5x\\ \\x=3\\ \\2x=6\\ \\2x+3=6+3=9

Can the values be added or subtracted? If one value needs to be converted to another, describe the conversion. 6.5 yd + 32 in. A

Convert both to either yards or inches and you can just add the numbers. B is the right answer.

Need help on all these questions!!
Yuki888 [10]

Okay, so YZ = 3 cm.  You have XM correct. And YM = 0.5.

Now, you have the midpoint M at the correct spot.

Use Pythagorean's theorem o find the length of AB.  a² + b² = c²   a=6,  b=8.

6² = 36   8² = 64    36 + 64 = 100      AB = 10!

If AB = 10   then AM = 5    MB also = 5

If B is the midpoint of AC,  C would be 12 rows down from A, and 16 columns to the right. The last spot where the line intersects.

There are your answers!

Given right triangle jkl, what is the value of cos(l)? five-thirteenths five-twelfths twelve-thirteenths twelve-fifths
kykrilka [37]

The value of the cosine ratio cos(L) is 5/13

<h3>How to determine the cosine ratio?</h3>

The complete question is added as an attachment

Start by calculating the hypotenuse (h) using

h^2 = 5^2 + 12^2

Evaluate the exponent

h^2 = 25 + 144

Evaluate the sum

h^2 = 169

Evaluate the exponent of both sides

h = 13

The cosine ratio is then calculated as:

cos(L) = KL/h

This gives

cos(L) =5/13

Hence, the value of the cosine ratio cos(L) is 5/13
