To manage your money wisely you should do all of these things EXCEPT spend more than you make. If you do this, you will have to borrow money, be in debt, and then need to pay interest. This will cause a downward spiral and cause even more financial woes.

stich3 [128]

Answer:

The correct answer is Option (A) Homeowners expect housing prices to increase in the future

Explanation:

Existing home sales decline was attributed to reduction in the supply of existing homes. The owners of existing homes would not sell their property only if they believe that home prices will increase in the future. Therefore, they can sell the property at a higher price later.

Had homeowners believed that home prices will decline in the future, the owners would have put-up existing houses for sale so that they get a better price now than wait to see the price decline.

vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

4. All three should be willing to pay the same amount for the stock regardless of their holding period.

Explanation:

Bill, Jim  and Shelly should be willing to pay the same amount of money to purchase this dividend-paying stock. This is because, the price of the stock today depends on the expected future dividends which when discounted, results in the intrinsic value of the stock. This is based on dividend discount model(DDM) of stock valuation. Therefore, the value of the stock  today does not depend on the holding period.
