I believe the answer is: <span>The U.S. expanded its air force and its buildup of nuclear weapons.

The policy of brinkmanship refers to the policy that is used to coerce the soviet union to bring down their military aggression without actually making direct confrontation. To do this, Eisenhower relied on intimidation tactics such as increasing military asset and mass destruction weapons.</span><span />

Brinkmanship is a strategy where one does anything for the opponent to stop the fight against them. This strategy was used by the United States to expand its Air Force and builds its nuclear weapons.

Further Explanation:

Brinkmanship was a kind of tactic used at the time of the cold war because neither the U.S.A. nor the USSR could bear the loss of mutually assured destruction. Nuclear War acted as a nuclear deterrence which can pose damage to both the receiving end. It degraded the relationship between the USA and the USSR.

Both the USA and the Soviet Union used fear tactics to counter their opponents. Both the parties pushed each other into a dangerous situation. They want backing down of any party in international politics. They escalated the threat of Nuclear War to an unimaginable situation. The result is that both parties responded with a more powerful force. The aim of the tactic is not to give yield to the other. If none of the parties yielded anything the result would be worse for both.  Thus brinkmanship is very risky. The only method to avoid is to evolve at a consensus and make a compromise. Bertrand Russell calls this tactic as a chicken game.

Opinion change resulting from a thoughtful focus on the content of arguments illustrates <u>"central route persuasion".</u>

<u></u>

The central route to persuasion comprises of thoughtful consideration of the contentions (thoughts, content) of the message. At the point when a recipient is doing central processing, the person is being a functioning member during the process of persuasion. The central route to persuasion happens when an individual is induced to act dependent on the arguments or the content of the message.

A: the conditions were good for supporting growth

Explanation:

I hope its right!!

Civilizations developed around rivers because their waters provided places to hunt and fish. Also, as the rivers flooded, the lands around them became fertile. This allowed them to support farming. This is especially true of the Nile River, which flooded the same time each year
