“Leave everything a bit better than you found it,” means respect. That’s what I think of when I see that sentence. It’s like the other saying “do more than what is expected of you.” When you leave things a bit better than you found it, your not only showing respect but your showing a good example. Your showing how responsible you are. Also it gets you in the habit of doing good things for not only other people but yourself!
