The Nurse needs to explain why it occurs and  what causes it. she should continue by saying'' it occurs when the  blood supply by the arteries and its containing  oxygen and  metabolites    to the localized tissues and cells of arterial supply  is  reduced. Thus there is a sudden shortage of blood(oxygen and metabolites;glucose),leading  to organs and tissues damages.

Then to causes;

Trauma, haemorrhages, poisons,and allergic reactions are likely causes.

<u>Followed by symptoms</u>;

Dizziness, lack of concentrations,tachycardia (increased heart beats),increased heat rates, sweating, anxiety are some of the symptoms.

<u>And then types;</u>

The different types of shocks depend on the actual cause.Based on this I  will mention these four to you  which are  low volume, cardiogenic, obstructive and distributive.

Neurogenic shock can be fatal if not treated.
