Is the temperature profile in the thermosphere more like that of the troposphere or the stratosphere?
podryga [215]

The correct answer is: stratosphere.

This is because their temperatures are rising instead of decreasing.

There are 4 primary layers of the atmosphere on Earth:

Troposphere (6-20km), the layer that we live in, where the weather occurs. Only nitrogen and oxygen present.

Stratosphere  (20-50 km), where the airplanes fly, contains the ozone layer, which absorbs harmful radiation from the sun.

Mesosphere (50-85 km), the coldest region of Earth’s atmosphere (-100 C), protective layer

Thermosphere (80-690), the hottest (1500 C) and the thickest layer which consists of the ionosphere and the exosphere.

Why is Mitochondria different in the cells of older people ?
Vlad1618 [11]
Well, mitochondria are the energy supplying organelles.

Knowing this, the mitochondria is different in the cells of older people because its been damaged, its called Mitochondrial Aging. When mitochondria age, just like us, they get damaged. And when they get damaged they damage our age, in a sense that we get older. This is how it is different in older people.

blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

Explanation:

Hardy Weinberg law is represented by the equation below

p² + 2pq + q² and states that the frequency of alleles and genotypes will remain constant in the absence of evolutionary disturbances such mutation, natural selection, migration and the population is large and mating is random.

where p² represent the frequency of homozygous dominant geotypes and 2pq represent the frequency of heterozygous genotypes and q² represent the frequency of the homozygous genotypes

p is the frequency of the dominant alleles and q is the frequency of the recessive alleles.

given

q² = 25% = 0.25

q = √0.25 = 0.5
