Now you have this:
4 + 2 x 4
Multiplication is before addition.
2 x 4 = 8
Now you have this left:

U follow the order of operations method first the exponent since there is no parentheses 2^2 = 4 and then multiply 2 * 4 = 8 and finally add 4 + 8 = 12

so ur answer is 12
