I want to know how they got (1.01125) as answer from the top question? Can someone plz help me just to explain it

They got 1.01125 by solving 1+0.045/4
1+0.045/4= 1+450/40000=1+0.1125=1.01125

What is:  "(0.045) / (4)" ???

Using a calculator:  "(0.045) ÷ (4) = 0.01125 ".
