The Self-Regulation of Prejudice (SRP) model (e.g.,
Monteith, 1993; Monteith, Ashburn-Nardo, Voils, & Czopp, 2002) describes in
what way the process of regulating one's prejudiced responses may be proficient,
principally between people who grasp low-prejudice attitudes.
The three elements whereupon which
marital happiness depends are these:
(1) Whether the couple's needs are companionable with each
other.
(2) Whether the couple's pictures of themselves harmonize
with their pictures of each other
(3) Whether they consent to what the couple's parts are in
the marriage as a husband and wife.
