CARBOHYDRATE HELPS TO IDENTIFY CELL TYPES.
Carbohydrates, proteins and lipids are all present inside the cell. Carbohydrates are usually attached to the cell proteins and lipids in order to enhance their functionality. These attached carbohydrates are typically used to identify cells.

The functions of the NUCLEUS in the cell resembles the functions of the brain in higher animals. This is because, it is the nucleus that direct all the cell activities and it also contains the genetic material in form of DNA.
