$0.05(n) + $0.10(d) = $1.90
n + d = 27
n + d - d =27 - d
n = 27 - d

$0.05(27-d) + $0.10(d) = $1.90
1.35 - 0.05d + 0.10d = $1.90
1.35 +0.05d = $1.90
1.35 - 1.35 +0.05d = $1.90 -1.35
0.05d = 0.55
0.05d/0.05 = 0.55/0.05
d = 11

n = 27 - 11
n = 16

$0.05(16) + $0.10(11) = $1.90
$0.80 + $1.10 = $1.90
$1.90 = $1.90

Sample size is the number of subjects that are included in research or survey. The sample space for this action is CC, CA, AC, and AA.

<h3>What is a sample size?</h3>

Sample size can be defined as the number of subjects that are included in research or survey.

As it is given that there are two customers, and each of the customers buys any one of the two tickets, a classic ticket (C), or an autograph event ticket (A).

Now, as each of the customers has two choices, therefore, the sample space for this action can be written as,

CC - When both of the customers buy a classic ticket.

CA - When the first customer buys a classic ticket(C) while the other buys an autograph event ticket (A).

AC - When the first customer buys an autograph event ticket (A) while the other buys a classic ticket(C).

AA - When both of the customers buy an autograph event ticket (A).

Hence, the sample space for this action is CC, CA, AC, and AA.

Ms.Anlonzo orderd 4,000 markers for her store.Only 1 tenth of them arrived.How many markers did she receive?
PSYCHO15rus [73]
So only 1/10 of 4000 markers arrived.

So 1/10, or 0.1 of 4000, can be found by multiplying 1/10 by 4000.

1/10 * 4000 = 400

So she received 400 markers.
