Since a significant amount of Mexico's population was illiterate before the Revolution, corridos served as an important form of oral tradition to spread news of events. During this tumultuous political time (1910-1920), most battles and major figures were commemorated using the song form.
The alliance system was made up of two groups, the Central powers (Germany, Austria- Hungary, Italy(1914), and Turkey). The second group was the Allied powers (Russia, France, Great Britain, and United states).
The battle of the coral sea was the sea battle that stopped Japan's expansion and the first Carrier group battle. <u><em>The battle of Midway</em></u> could be an answer. This battle was the turning point in the war with Japan and let eventually to the liberation of Philippines.
