Photosynthesis: This is a main activity permed by most plant cells where carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight are used to make glucose and oxygen. This process is especially important for all living organisms since glucose is a main source of cellular energy.

Cellular respiration: This activity takes glucose and breaks it down so that cellular energy can be made. If cellular respiration is not performed by any cell, they will have a hard time living and thriving.
Mitosis: This activity is where a parent cell divides into two identical daughter cells. It is important for the cell to have identical copies of every organelle and genetic information to complete this process.

Cleaning, Storing, and Building: These, and many more, are some of the other activities performed by a plant cell that help maintain homeostasis. The cells organelles are constantly cleaning up waste, storing necessary nutrients and genetic information away, and building new proteins that will help other
