First of all, let's find the water tank total amount
according to the exercice, there were 2 L (L =liters) of water at 6 am (6hours after midnight ).
Consider T as total amount of water
so we have
T=(6×2)+2=14 as we already know it's emptying 2 L per hour

y=14-2x , here is the equation !
