slava [35]

Answer:

A) 2.9% of GDP

B) 8.73% of GDP

Step-by-step explanation:

A) To find the rate of spending, let's find the derivative of the function

P(t) = 0.27t² + 1.4t + 2.1 (0 <= t <= 5)

So,

dP/dt = 0.54t + 1.4 which is the annual growth rate.

Since t is measured in decades, thus in 2030 ,it will have been 3 decades, so we have t = 3

So, at t=3; dp/dt = 0.5(3) + 1.4 = 1.5 + 1.4 = 2.9 which means spending in 2030 will be growing at rate of 2.9%

B) The predicated spending is;

P(t) = 0.27t² + 1.4t + 2.1

Thus, in 2030, will be 3 decades so, t= 3

Thus;

P(3) = 0.27(3²) + 1.4(3) + 2.1 = 8.73 which is 8.73% of GDP

A lawn-mowing company is trying to grow its business. It had 26 clients when they started its business and wants to increase by
SCORPION-xisa [38]

Answer:

f(x) = 3x + 26; 26 ≤ y ≤ 35

Step-by-step explanation:

This makes a linear equation.

y=mx+b

where m is the amount they want to increase each week

and b is the initial value i.e 26 clients.

Now substitute the values in the equation.

Let x=0

y=3(0)+26

y = 26

Now let x= 3

y=mx+b

y=3(3)+26

y=9+26

y=35

Thus the correct option is B.

f(x) = 3x + 26; 26 ≤ y ≤ 35 .....

Angle 3 and angle 6 are corresponding angles, which means they are equal. In order for the lines to remain parallel, angle 3 and angle 6 would need to remain equal. If something is done to angle 6, then it would have to be done to angle 3 as well in order to keep the angles equal. So, if angle 6 is doubled, angle 3 would also have to be doubled.

The answer is B. m< 3 would need to double.

Hope this helps =)
