The correct answer should be A. He was occupied with making sure his sister did not repeat the same error, otherwise.

This should be the correct answer because placing otherwise here would create confusion in the sentence as it is not sure to what it refers.

Umnica [9.8K]

Answer:

A dissenting opinion (or dissent) is an opinion in a legal case in certain legal systems written by one or more judges expressing disagreement with the majority opinion of the court which gives rise to its judgment. When not necessarily referring to a legal decision, this can also be referred to as a minority report.

What does the word mimetic tell us about the difference between novels and most of the literature of the 1800's
Effectus [21]
The term mimetic is associated with "imitation" so it might be said that during the 1800, literature tried to replicate or portray real life in the stories. that is to say, novels were based on realism so they were considered unique and a revelation because it was a new way of writing.

Read the passages from The War of the Worlds.
madam [21]
I would say it's A, because like the question stated, his curiosity, tends to overcome his judgement. But the thing about this is that this leads into C, because his curiosity comes before his judgement, so he is risking his life, to be curious...
Hope this helped!! :)
