n maize, a Ds or Ac transposon can cause mutations in genes at or near the site of transposon insertion. It is possible for thes

e elements to transpose away from their original site, causing a reversion of the mutant phenotype. In some cases, however, even more severe phenotypes appear when these elements excise from this site, due to events at or near the mutant allele. What might be happening to the transposon or the nearby gene to create more severe mutations?

Answer:

Deletion in a nearby gene, chromosome breakage, and translocation of the gene to a heterochromatic location.

Explanation:

Transposable components (TEs), also known as "jumping genes," are DNA sequences that moves starting with one area on the genome then onto the next, in some cases making or reversing mutation and changing the cell's hereditary character and genome size.

At the point when the transposon is extracted from the original site, it may remove a portion of the gene sections alongside it. This prompts the presence of a serious phenotype. Transposable components can likewise cause chromosome breakage. On the off chance that the whole gene is moved alongside the transposon to a heterochromatic location, the gene gets silenced

Oxygen and CO2 are exchanged between capillaries and alveolus. Do capillaries contain deoxygenated blood while alveolous contain
dalvyx [7]
The aveolus is surrounded by capillaries. So capillaries carry deoxygenated blood to the alveolus where the oxygen from the alveolus diffuses into the blood in the capillaries. The deoxygenated blood is now oxygenated and is carried out of the lung via capillaries that then merge into the pulmonary vein.

In other words, alveolus does not have oxygenated blood it just puts oxygen into the deoxygenated blood hat this brought in.

What evidence must be considered when determining whether or not a trait is an adaptation? (Site 1)
Alexeev081 [22]
According to Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection, organisms that possess heritable traits that enable them to better adapt to their environment compared with other members of their species will be more likely to survive, reproduce, and pass more of their genes on to the next generation. The next generation will have the things they will need to survive and the longer the generation goes the more fetchers they will have.
