The light reactions of photosynthesis supply the calvin cycle with
Alex

Answer:

The light reactions of photosynthesis supply the calvin cycle with ATP and NADPH.

Explanation:

In the light reaction the energy from photons present in the sunlight is used to split water into oxygen, hydrogen ions, and electron. These electrons moves through the electron transport chain and produce chemical energy in the form of ATP and  NADPH.

This ATP and NADPH is supplied to the Calvin cycle and the energy released by these molecules is used to convert carbon dioxide into glucose molecules with the help of the enzyme RuBisCo. As Calvin cycle does not require light, therefore, it is a light-independent reaction.

Therefore the light reactions of photosynthesis supply the Calvin cycle with ATP and NADPH.

Most of the exchange surfaces of multicellular animals are lined with _________.
QveST [7]

Most of the exchange surfaces of multicellular animals are lined with epithelial tissue.

Epithelial tissue is one of the four major body tissues found in organs, lining the internal and external surfaces of the body.

It has different structures and functions depending on where it is located on the body.

The epithelium is a type of body tissue that covers all the internal and external surfaces of the body, lines body cavities and hollow organs.

Epithelial tissue has various functions, such as protection, secretion, and absorption, depending on where it is located in the body. The body organs are made up of four basic types of tissue, including:

  • Epithelial tissue
  • Connective tissue
  • Muscular tissue
  • Nervous tissue

All substances entering or leaving an organ must first pass through the epithelium.

There are various types of epithelial tissue throughout the body. Some examples of epithelial tissues are:

  • The outer layer of skin (epidermis).
  • Intestinal mucosa.
  • Airway lining.
  • Inner wall of abdominal cavity.
  • Sweat glands

A complete collection of single-use and high-throughput electrocompetent and chemically competent E. coli

Choosing the ideal competent cells for your cloning applications and workflows is a critical component of success. Aspects to consider when selecting your competent E. coli strain include:

Transfection method – chemical versus electroporation

Transformation efficiency – bacterial strain and genotype

Downstream application – protein expression, library production, general cloning

Cells can function____ A. in rapidly changing temperatures and pHs. B. in a wide range of pHs and temperatures. C. only in a nar
irakobra [83]

Correct answer: C) Only in a narrow range of temperature and pH

Homeostasis is defined as the ability of the body to regulate temperature and internal conditions even when there is a change in the external environment. Homeostasis is important for the survival of life because the cells of all the organism can function well only in a limited range of temperature and pH.

All the cells of the body use enzymes for proper function, and the enzymes can only function under a limited range of temperature and pH. In extreme conditions of cold or heat enzymes will not be able to function properly and lead to the death of the cell.
