Answer:

theta waves with sleep spindles and K-complexes

Explanation:

K-complexes and sleep kindles are known to be defining brainwaves of stage 2 REM or sleep. Duke has not entered the deep sleep stage or the slow wave sleep stage which are characterized by low frequency and high delta waves. While K-waves are large theta waves that usually occur in response to stimulus such as sound, and hence Duke must have been awakened by the sound of the door.

Answer:

âtheta waves with sleep spindles and K-complexes

Explanation:

theta waves occurs in stage 1 sleep, higher amplitude, frequency slowing down, more synchronized (firing at same time) 3-7 cycles per second.

Sleep spindle is a high frequency activity appearing on EEG that last for about 1 second, indicating person is truly asleep.

K-complexes are lower frequency higher amplitudes occur, due to picking up on external stimuli.

Katena32 [7]

Answer:

It is marked by a clinically significant disturbance in an individual's cognition.

Explanation:

Cognition is the capacity an individual has of interpreting his/her environment by processing it via the brain in order to understand it. It is the way an individual processes information via his/her mental functions.

A psychological disorder tends to affect one's cognitive skills since in most cases there is a disturbance in the individual's reality and he/she is not able to process it. In this case, the individual's reality is distorted and his/her cognition is disturbed, as well as his/her emotion regulation and/or behavior.

How do you think Lincoln would have solved Women suffrage and The Native Americans promblem?
Maksim231197 [3]
Lincoln would've responded to both Women Suffrage and the Native American's problem in a similar way as he did to African American's.

Compromises for both parties and a way to make everyone happy while getting the correct response he knew was right: Women's rights and Native American equality.

Hope this helps!
