We have the formula of the volume: 480 = area rectangular base x 10 / 3 ;

Then, 480 x 3 = area reactangular base x 10;

Area rectangular base = 480 x 3 / 10;

10 x ( 9 x length ) = 480 x 3;

90 x width = 1440;

length = 1440/90;

length = 16 inches;

If two triangles have equivalent angle measures then they are congruent
const2013 [10]
If two triangles have equivalent angle measures then they are congruent isn’t enough to prove that the two triangles are congruent. Two triangles are congruent if they have both the same three sides and also with the same three angles however, the given is only specifying in angles therefore, it can’t assure the argument that is the two triangles with the same angle is congruent.

3(x - 2) + 48 = -3x
kow [346]

Answer: X=-7

Step-by-step explanation:

Using PEMDAS;

Step 1: Distribute the "3" in the part of the equation "3(x-2)"

3x - 6

Step 2: Consider the equation as a whole with the newly part of the equation from step 1, as it is a part of the equation

Therefore, re-written as,

3x - 6 + 48 = -3x

Step 3: Evaluate the re-written equation

Using basic mathematics skills, we can evaluate the following,

3x - 6 + 48 = -3x ➡ -6 + 48 = -6x ➡ 42 = -6x ➡ -7 = x

As shown, the answer is x=-7.

need this answered asap Which function has a minimum and is transformed to the right and down from the parent function, f(x) = x
torisob [31]

The function that has a minimum and is transformed to the right and down from the parent function is; g(x) = 8(x² - 3²) - 5

<h3>How to Interpret Functions?</h3>

By inspection, only Functions B) and D) have a minimum.

For the first function in option B, we have:

g(x) = 4(x²- 6x + 9) + 1

This can be simplified to;

g(x) = 4( x - 3 )² + 1

Thus, we can say that this first function is transformed to the right and up from the parent function.

For the second function in option D, we have;

g(x) = 8(x² - 6x + 9 ) - 5

The function can be simplified to get;

g(x) = 8( x - 3 )² - 5

Thus, we can say that it is transformed to the right and down.

The function that has a minimum and is transformed to the right and down from the parent function is D
