If two triangles have equivalent angle measures then they are congruent isn’t enough to prove that the two triangles are congruent. Two triangles are congruent if they have both the same three sides and also with the same three angles however, the given is only specifying in angles therefore, it can’t assure the argument that is the two triangles with the same angle is congruent.

djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

The equation of line passing through point (2 , 2) and perpendicular to line y = x is  y = - x + 4   .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The line equation is y = x

Now, equation of line in slope-intercept form y = m x + c

where m is the slope of line and c is y-intercept

Comparing given line equation with standard line equation

The slope of line y = x is m = 1

Again

Other line is passing through point (2 ,2) and is perpendicular to line y = x

Let The slope of other line = M

∵ From perpendicular lines property

Product of slope of lines = - 1

i.e m × M = - 1

Or , M = \dfrac{ - 1}{m}

Or, M = \dfrac{ - 1}{1}

∴  M = - 1

<u>Now, Equation of other line in point-slope form</u>

The other line is passing through point (2 , 2) and slope M = - 1

So, y - y_1 = M × (x - x_1)

Or, y - 2 = - 1 × ( x - 2 )

Or, y - 2 = - x + 2

Or, y = - x + 2 + 2

Or, y = - x + 4

Hence, The equation of line passing through point (2 , 2) and perpendicular to line y = x is  y = - x + 4   . Answer

Answer:

V≈653

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the volume of a cylinder, you use the formula V=πr2h. In this case, the filled-in formula would be V=3.14*4*4*13. This equals 653.45. In your answer, you need to round to the nearest whole number. In this case, round down to 653. That is your answer. Hope this helps :)

given the recursive formula for a geometric sequence find the common ratio the 8th term and the explicit formula.did I set these
lesya [120]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1)Since we know that recursive formula of the geometric sequence is

a_{n}=a_{n-1}*r

so comparing it with the given recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*-4

we get common ratio =-4

8th term= a_{1}*(r)^{n-1}=-2*(-4)^{7} =32768.

Explicit Formula =-2*(-4)^{n-1}

2) Comparing the given recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*-2

with standard recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*r

we get common ratio =-2

8th term= a_{1}*(r)^{n-1}=-4*(-2)^{7} =512.

Explicit Formula =-4*(-2)^{n-1}

3)Comparing the given recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*3

with standard recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*r

we get common ratio =3

8th term= a_{1}*(r)^{n-1}=-1*(3)^{7} =-2187.

Explicit Formula =-1*(3)^{n-1}

4)Comparing the given recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*-4

with standard recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*r

we get common ratio =-4

8th term= a_{1}*(r)^{n-1}=3*(-4)^{7} =-49152.

Explicit Formula =3*(-4)^{n-1}

5)Comparing the given recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*-4

with standard recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*r

we get common ratio =-4

8th term= a_{1}*(r)^{n-1}=-4*(-4)^{7} =65536.

Explicit Formula =-4*(-4)^{n-1}

6)Comparing the given recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*-2

with standard recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*r

we get common ratio =-2

8th term= a_{1}*(r)^{n-1}=3*(-2)^{7} =-384.

Explicit Formula =3*(-2)^{n-1}

7)Comparing the given recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*-5

with standard recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*r

we get common ratio =-5

8th term= a_{1}*(r)^{n-1}=4*(-5)^{7} =-312500.

Explicit Formula =4*(-5)^{n-1}

8)Comparing the given recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*-5

with standard recursive formula a_{n}=a_{n-1}*r

we get common ratio =-5

8th term= a_{1}*(r)^{n-1}=2*(-5)^{7} =-156250.

Explicit Formula =2*(-5)^{n-1}
