She already has $8 so we will first subtract to see how much more money she needs.

57.50 - 8 = 49.50

So, Marianna needs $49.50 more. To find out how many weeks it will take her to get this amount we will divide.

49.50 ÷ 4.50 = 11

So, It will take Marianna 11 weeks to save enough money for her new tennis racket.

Hope I helped ya!!

Let the total week=x
she had 8 per week
she save 4.50 per week
total amount of racket=57.50
eqn
total week*amount save per week +amount per week=total amount of rackets
4.50x+8=57.50
x=(57.50-8)/4.50
x=11

Answer:

Y' = (-2, 4\frac{2}{3})

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Y = (-3,7)

Scale\ Factor = (\frac{2}{3}x,\frac{2}{3}y)

Required

Determine Y'

Y' can be solved by multiplying the scale factor by Y

i.e.

Y' = Scale\ Factor * Y

For, the x coordinates.

Y' = \frac{2}{3}x

Where

x = -3

Y' = \frac{2}{3} * -3

Y' = \frac{-6}{3}

Y = -2

For the y coordinates:

Y' = \frac{2}{3}y

Where

y = 7

Y' = \frac{2}{3} * 7

Y' = \frac{14}{3}

Y' = 4\frac{2}{3}

Hence:

Y' = (-2, 4\frac{2}{3})
