Hey!

Hope this Helps...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We know these 2 things...
(1) We are assuming Jim needs 300 juice boxes every hour = x amount of gallons...
(2) there are 16 cups in a gallon...
Now that we know those 2 things, lets get to work...
300 / 60 = 5 juice boxes a minute
0.8 * 5 = 4 cups of juice every minute
4 * 60 = 240 cups of juice every hour
240 / 16 = 15 gallons of juice every hour
Jim needs 15 gallons of juice made every hour...
Answer:
Jim's factory needs 15 gallons of juice per hour.
Step-by-step explanation:
At Jim's juice box factory, his machine can fill juice boxes per hour = 300
Each juice box holds juice = 0.8 cups
per hour the machine can fill juices in 300 boxes = 300 × 0.8 = 240 cups
16 cups = 1 gallon
so Jim's factory need juice per hour = 240 ÷ 16 = 15 gallons
Jim's factory needs 15 gallons of juice per hour.
The width of a rectangle is 6n - 2.5 feet and the length is 2.5 + 8 feet. Find the perimeter of the rectangle.
ludmilkaskok [199]
I was thinking the measurement for ;length should be 2.5n + 8 feet since width is 6n -2.5 feet , but you gave 2.5+ 8 feet, so i will solve it in both ways
Answer:  Perimeter =  5 + 12n + 11 feet ; Perimeter =  17n+ 11 feet
Step-by-step explanation:
Using Length = 2.5+ 8 feet,
Perimeter of  a rectangle is calculated as 2( l+ b)
Given that width=6n - 2.5 feet
length =2.5 + 8 feet
Perimeter =2( l+ b)= 2L + 2B
Perimeter= 2(2.5 + 8feet ) + 2( 6n - 2.5 feet)
Perimeter = 5 + 16feet + 12n - 5feet
Perimeter =  5 + 12n + 11 feet
Using Length = 2.5n+ 8 feet,
Perimeter of  a rectangle is calculated as 2( l+ b)
Given that width=6n - 2.5 feet
length =2.5n+ 8 feet
Perimeter =2( l+ b)= 2L + 2B
Perimeter= 2(2.5n + 8feet ) + 2( 6n - 2.5 feet)
Perimeter = 5n + 16feet + 12n - 5feet
Perimeter =  5n + 12n + 11 feet
Perimeter =  17n+ 11 feet
The sum of a geometric series of twelve terms with common ratio 2 is 20,475. What is the first term?
Ray Of Light [21]
Answer: the first term is 5
Step-by-step explanation:
In a geometric sequence, the consecutive terms differ by a common ratio. The formula for determining the sum of n terms, Sn of a geometric sequence is expressed as
Sn = (ar^n - 1)/(r - 1)
Where
n represents the number of term in the sequence.
a represents the first term in the sequence.
r represents the common ratio.
From the information given,
S12 = 20475
r = 2
n = 12
Therefore,
20475 = (a × 2^(12) - 1)/2 - 1
20475 = (a × 4095)
20475 = 4095a
a = 20475/4095
a = 5
