Answer:

(-3,2)

Step-by-step explanation:

From the number line graph we can see that there is a open circle at -3

and an open circle at 2.

The shaded part lies between -3  and 2

So we can write inequality form as -3<x<2.

Interval form

If we have open circle then we use parenthesis when we write it in interval notation. we have open circle at -3  and 2

So interval notation is (-3,2)

Generalize the pattern by finding the nth term. 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, ... options: A. 4n B. 4n + 2 C. 4n + 10 D. 6n + 4
elixir [45]

ANSWER

B.

4n + 2

EXPLANATION

The given pattern is:

6, 10, 14, 18, 22, ...

The first term if the pattern is a=6.

The common difference among the terms is

d = 10 - 6 = 4

The general pattern can be found using the formula:

f(n)=a+d(n-1)

We substitute the values to get,

f(n)=6+4(n-1)

Expand to get;

f(n)=6+4n-4

f(n) = 4n + 2

The correct answer is B.

If I am reading this correctly...the ratio would be
Austalia championships: the total of countries championships

for example   australia = 18  and the other countries have 300

Then simplify     3:50  or 3/50
