Number of soda crates sold by Kent last week = 41
Amount made by Kent for selling each crate = $3.14
Amount made by Kent by selling 41 crates = (3.14 * 41) dollars
                                                                     = (314/100) * 41 dollars
                                                                     = 12874/100 dollars
                                                                     = 128.74 dollars
So the amount of money Kent makes by selling 41 crates of soda bottle is $128.74. this is the easiest way of solving such type of problems. I hope this method will help you to solve these kind of problems in future without requiring any help from others.

Crates = 41
1 crate = 3.14
 41 × 3.14 = 128.74

So, on 41 crates of bottled sodas he makes $128.74.

Hope I helped ya!!

At maximum speed, an airplane travels
SpyIntel [72]

against wind the speed = x-y

distance traveled = 2460

2460/x-y= 6

6x-6y= 2460

x-y=410...........1

..

with wind speed = x+y

distance is same 2460

2460/x+y=5

5x+5y=2460

x+y=492............2

..

Add equation 1 & 2

x-y+x+y=410+492

2x=902

x= 451 mph speed of plane in still air.

..

Plug the value of x in equation 1

451-y=410

y=451-410

y=40 mph the speed of wind

.

Your feed back about the solution is very important in improvement.

HELP ME PLEASE !!!!
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

D. the graph of g(x) is shifted 3 united left and 4 units up.

Step-by-step explanation:

When a change is made inside the parenthesis to the input, the function shifts left and right. Addition shifts it left while subtraction shifts it to the right. Here it is translated three units to the left. Adding or subtracting a number outside the parenthesis will slide the function up and down. Here it is shifted 4 units up.

Example:    f(x) = x            f(x+3)+4 = x_{n-3}+4

                   f(3) = 3                 x+3 = 3

                                               x+3-3 = 3-3

                                             x=0 and f(0) = 0

                                                 So f(0) +4 = 0+4 =4
