If Two Angles in a Triangle are Equal, Then Sides Corresponding to those Angles are also Equal

From the Figure, We can Notice that ∠C = ∠B

⇒ Length of AC = Length of AB

⇒ 2x - 24 = x - 2

⇒ x = 24 - 2

⇒ x = 22

The sum of 13 divided by a number and that number divided by 13
7nadin3 [17]
Sum means add

the number is x

13 divided by a number is 13/x
the number divided by the number is x/13

so
\frac{13}{x}+\frac{x}{13}
also can be simplified to
\frac{169}{13x}+\frac{x^2}{13x} or
\frac{x62+169}{13x}

translated it is \frac{13}{x}+\frac{x}{13} where x is the number

The graph shows the height of an elevator over a period of time.
natulia [17]

C. Between E and F and between G and H the elevator could be travelling from a higher floor to a lower floor.

<u>We have to justify all the options with respect to the </u><u>graph </u><u>:-</u>

<u>Option A</u> : Between A and B, the elevator would be travelling from a lower floor to a higher floor. Also between C and D, the elevator would be travelling from a lower floor to a slightly higher floor.

So, this option is <u>not correct.</u>

<u>Option B</u> : Between B and C, the elevator wouldn't go higher. And also the same would happen in between D and E.

So, this option is <u>not correct.</u>

<u>Option C</u> : Between E and F, the elevator would be travelling from higher floor to lower and also between G and H.

So, this option is <u>correct</u>.

<u>Option 4</u> : Between F and G, there would not have much changes. So it will be omitted.

So, this option is <u>not correct.</u>

Four people at pia’s pottery shop each make 29 mugs and 18 pottery bowls three people at Jason’s craft shop each make the same n
BartSMP [9]

The seven people made 383 objects in all

Step-by-step explanation:

The given is:

  • Four people at pia’s pottery shop each make 29 mugs and 18 pottery bowls
  • Three people at Jason’s craft shop each make the same number of mugs and twice as many pottery bowls

We need to find how many objects the seven people made in all

∵ Four people at pia’s pottery shop each make 29 mugs

∵ Three people at Jason’s craft shop each make the same

    number of mugs

∴ Seven people in the two shops made 29 mugs each

∴ The total number of mugs = 7 × 29

∴ The total number of mugs = 203

∵ Four people at pia’s pottery shop each make 18 pottery bowls

∵ Three people at Jason’s craft shop each make twice as

    many pottery bowls

- Multiply the number of bowls by 2

∴ Three people at Jason’s craft shop each make 2 × 18 = 36

   pottery bowls

∴ The total number of pottery bowls = (4 × 18) + (3 × 36)

∴ The total number of pottery bowls = 72 + 108

∴ The total number of pottery bowls = 180

Now add the total number of mugs and the total number of pottery bowls to find the total number of objects the seven people made

∵ The total number of mugs is 203

∵ The total number of pottery bowls is 180

∴ The total number of objects = 203 + 180

∴ The total number of objects = 383

The seven people made 383 objects in all
