I don't know, if the 2 yard spool is ribbon, this could be a different ribbon we are talking about but assuming that the 2 yard spool cut into 5 pieces is what you are speaking of then it would be 1.2 feet per length, because one yard is 3 feet, so 6 feet cut into 5 parts, so 1.2 feet. for each part.

A pan is heated to 393°F, then removed from the heat and allowed to cool in a kitchen where the room temperature is a constant 6
deff fn [24]

Answer:

The approximate temperature of the pan after it has been away from the heat for 9 minutes is 275.59°F.

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for D, the difference in temperature between the pan and the room after t minutes is:

D = 324\cdot e^{-0.05t}

Compute the approximate difference in temperature between the pan and the room after 9 minutes as follows:

D = 324\cdot e^{-0.05t}

    =324\times e^{-0.05\times 9}\\\\=206.59

Then the approximate temperature of the pan after it has been away from the heat for 9 minutes is:

D = P - R

206.59 = P - 69

P = 206.59 + 69

P = 275.59°F

Thus, the approximate temperature of the pan after it has been away from the heat for 9 minutes is 275.59°F.

Write L if it is likely to happen and U if unlikely to happen.
maria [59]

Answer:

Probabilities

        Likely to happen (L)      Unlikely to happen (U)

a.      4/5                                 5/8

b.     3/5                                  3/8

c.     4/5                                  4/7

d.    0.3                                  0.09

e.    5/6 and 4/5                   2/3

Step-by-step explanation:

Probabilities in Percentages:

a. The probability of 4/5 = 80% and 5/8 = 62.5%

b. The probability of 3/8 = 37.5% and 3/5 = 60%

c. The probability of 4/5 = 80% and 4/7 = 57%

d. The probability of 0.3 = 30% and 0.09 = 9%

e. The probability of 2/3 = 67% and 4/5 = 80% and 5/6 = 83%

b) To determine the relative values of the fractional probabilities, it is best to reduce them to their fractional or percentage terms.  When this is done, the relative sizes become obvious, and then, comparisons can be made.

What is 5/8 + 3/4 divided by -2 /3 - 5/6
pentagon [3]

\text{Hey there!}

\frac{5}{4}+\frac{3}{4}\div-\frac{2}{3}\ -\ \frac{5}{6}

\frac{5}{8} +\frac{3}{4}=\frac{11}{8}
