Pretty sure its a simile. It cant be personification because it says “he” which refers to a living and breathing human. I don’t think it would be a hyperbole because hyperboles are an over exaggerated description. It doesn’t use like or as, so i would say in this case simile.

Answer:

Metaphor

Explanation:

A metaphor is a literary device in which an author makes an implicit comparison between two unrelated things that share a common characteristic. In this example, the author compares a dead person and a stone. Most likely, the comparison refers to the immobility and the lifelessness that both present.

English 6 EXPLAIN giving brainliest to the correct answer
Katen [24]

Answer:

B. The weather was frigid in Minnesota; it wasn't warm at all.

Explanation:

An antonym is the opposite word or meaning of a given word. It gives the exact opposite or different meaning of what is implied by a word.

In the context of the word "frigid", the antonym will be "warm, hot, pleasant," etc. And among the given statements, sentence B uses the antonym context of the word "frigid". While the other three statements give the implication of the coldness of Minnesota, the second sentence uses the antonym "warm" to add a different aspect of the coldness of the place.

Thus, the correct answer is option B.
